An Air Handler is a device used to regulate and circulate air as part of a heating, ventilating, and air-conditioning (HVAC) system. An air handler is usually a large metal box containing a blower, heating or cooling elements, filter racks or chambers, sound attenuators, and dampers. Air handlers usually connect to a ductwork ventilation system that distributes the conditioned air through the building and returns it to the AHU.

AHU Cleaning Process

Following is our defined procedure we undertake while cleaning AHU units.
  • We switch off any external installed filteration system or UV lamps. Before turning off the unit, we take various readings of AHU system.
  • We then do a thorough internal inspection, ie. containmined AHU floor, moulds, bacteria, valves etc. If minor dust or mould is found then we disinfect it immediately to prevent cross containmination.
  • Internal lights are checked for problems.
  • All electricals are checked for faults.
  • Fan Belts, Condensor Coils, Drain Trays are checked for any  dirt's, moulds, bacteria build up and any maintenance required that would is checked.
  • The above is necessary to prepare a quote for a complete thorough cleaning.
  • Approval of Work: If you accept our quotation, we then prepare a detailed plan, assign work to various team and schedule your job at a date convenient to you.
  • Cleaning Process: On the Scheduled date, we ensure that staff is uniformed, with proper clothing, protective eye gear for protection from possible eye strain.
  • We start by applying de-greasing chemical to the entire inner and outer walls of AHU.
  •  Then we do a pressure wash to remove the grease and black particulate.
  •  Then the inner and outer walls are sprayed and washed with standard dis-infectant. Coils, Drip tray are cleaned and dis-infected.
  • Floor in the AHU room is vacummed to remove any water spillage.
  • All electrial components are switched on again and unit is re-commissioned.

Air Conditioning System For Cinemas and Theaters !!

Theater buildings present a unique challenge when selecting a heating and air conditioning system to provide proper ventilation.


Theater owners face the issue of providing greater amounts of ventilation air without increasing the cost of the system and its cost of operation. In addition, theaters have several types of rooms around the main atrium including lobbies, projection rooms and restrooms, which have their own ventilation and temperature requirements. Proper humidity and temperature control between these areas requires special attention. Humidity, not just temperature, has an important impact on human comfort and Indoor Air Quality (IAQ)

Conventional air conditioning systems use cooling coils to adjust humidity levels, but that approach can be expensive.  The air is cooled down to below its dew-point in order to condense out the moisture, but then needs to be re-heated to provide air into the occupied space at an appropriate temperature and relative humidity.

Movie theaters also have intermittent occupancy.  This can generate high running costs as ventilation and thermal requirements will vary greatly, resulting in the system being necessarily over-sized for much of the time.  Independent control of humidity allows this to be adjusted without the cost of unnecessarily adjusting the temperature.

Ductless Ventilation System !!


Ductless ventilation system is the latest in applying modern technology in building management system. Hither to car parking ventilation has been done with conventional duct system. In this system a set of fresh air fans and exhaust fans are used. Through a well laid out duct the fresh air is being pumped to the car parking area and the exhaust fan sucks these air and remove it out.
A series of jet fans and exhaust fans are used in ductless ventilation systems for the removal of exhaust. The jet fans provide a high velocity to the gas stream entering into it and pass it onto the next exhaust or jet fan which then releases the gas stream to the outside surrounding while also replacing it with fresh air from outside.
The first and foremost advantage that these systems have over ducted ones is that due to the lack of ducts, it is extremely to install ductless systems in car parking spaces. The time and cost taken for the installation is also considerably lower.

Advantages of Ductless Ventilation Systems-
  • With the absence of ducts, the weight of the installation is also less. The jet fans are made of lightweight, less density corrosion resistant aluminum and the outer casting is made up of stainless steel.
  • The overall height of the basement gets restricted due to the installation height of the ducts and then the parking space is also convenient for small and medium cars and larger cars do not fit in. Whereas with ductless systems, one does have to face such issues.
  • The jet fans in ductless systems are synced with CO2 detectors and they automatically adjust themselves to work according to the CO2 level in the parking space. Whereas in ducted systems, the fresh air and exhaust fans would be required to work all day leading to more energy consumption.
  • The jet, impulse or induction fans are designed to have a characteristic thrust that ensures a relatively even distribution of air.
  • The jet fans can be worked in single or in both directions, according to the requirement.

In light of the above advantages that ductless systems offer over ducted ones, it can be safely said that ductless ventilation systems are ideal for underground car parking spaces in malls which already have less space and need to provide for hundreds of cars that come day in and out. The level of fresh air need to be maintained if people are to be prevented from getting suffocated and also a good ventilation system will come in handy when fire breaks out as it would neither be possible for people to vacate the space if there is smoke everywhere nor will the fire fighters be able to do their job.
